At the heart of the Maitrise Populaire de l'Opéra Comique
At the heart of the Maitrise Populaire de l'Opéra Comique

As a school of excellence, the Maitrise de l’Opéra Comique is keen to see its students as comfortable on national stages as they are in stadiums. This is why the Maîtrise will open all the Rugby matches of the World Cup (France, end 2024), with the national anthems of countries around the world. A recent program, unique in France, which breaks with codes and draws some of its students from the working-class neighborhoods of Ile de France.

To combat their disappearance, the HELP (Habitat Ecologique et Liberté des Primates) association has been working for over 30 years to protect chimpanzees by rescuing them from black markets and reintroducing them into their natural environment after a period of habituation.

Reporters committed to sustainable development issues

"Sea grabbing can be as serious a threat as land grabbing".
Olivier de Schutter, UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food.
"The photographs and testimonials collected are a fundamental aid to our efforts to mobilize and support programs to prevent and adapt to the impacts of climate disruption".
Kofi Annan, former UN Secretary General, patron of Climate Refugees.
"More than numbers, the human stories revealed by the ARGOS Collective have the power to move the public and decision-makers alike. They provide information about local realities, and aim to get people thinking at a global level, so that supranational legislation against ocean grabbing can be swiftly put in place".
Françoise Brenckmann, President of the Iris Foundation
"I'd like to thank the members of Collectif Argos for their tremendous work over the years."
Yann Arthus Bertrand, photographer, during a visit to the Footprint exhibition.
