In the Marais Poitevin, the rise of Atlantic Ocean – +2.8 mm/year – is a serious concern. Currently, dykes protect the immense cereal fields, which are already a few metres below the level of high tides. But at what cost and for how long?

Report in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, where rising water levels go side by side with rising tensions.
