Daniel Peyronel

editor

Science and climate journalist, I write for French, Italian and German media. I wrote for Libération, Domani, XXI & 6Mois magazines, Le Grand Continent, Perspective Daily, higgs, etc.

Graduated as a geographer, I am mainly interested in urban worlds and the conflictual relationship between human populations and fragile ecosystems (coastline, mountains, subsoil…), following the rules of constructive journalism.

In 2023, I wrote an atlas on land use in France for the Institut national de l’information géographique et forestière (IGN). With the federation of climate science labs, the Institut Pierre-Simon Laplace, I regularly produce podcast episodes, at the crossroads between science and society (“IPSL News”, “Le climat une question 2…”).
