A With the Olympic Games just around the corner, this series is an invitation to reconnect with nature through sport. I set out to meet sportsmen and women of all ages, amateurs and professionals alike, who have made the forest of Fontainebleau their playground. I accompanied them on their outings – whether training or competing – to capture the sporting atmosphere rooted in the environment. Living in the area, I wanted to explore this natural heritage as a source of vitality, a place to play and a source of oxygen. Initiated by Fontainebleau Tourisme, this series is the subject of an exhibition labelled a Cultural Olympiad by the Paris 2024 Olympic Committee and supported by the Ile-de-France Region. It has been on display since 3 September on the forecourt of Fontainebleau-Avon station.
